Los Siete Misterios Joven Clay Pot Mezcal is an ancestral-style unaged mezcal produced in Sola de Vega, Oaxaca, Mexico. The spirit is crafted using mature agave plants cooked in traditional underground earth ovens fueled with local wood and river stones, then milled with hand-carved wooden mallets and double distilled in clay pot stills — a rare and labor-intensive technique that imparts a distinctive earthy minerality to the final spirit.

Founded in 2010, Los Siete Misterios is a family-owned brand dedicated to preserving traditional Oaxacan mezcal production. Their clay pot line represents the ancestral category of their portfolio, with fermentation conducted in open-air wooden vats using only wild yeast and pure spring water. The clay pot distillation method differentiates these expressions from their copper pot counterparts, lending the mezcal a unique mineral character with notes of fresh herbs, flowers, and citrus alongside rich, smoky depth.
