Green River Distilling Co.'s Army 250th Anniversary Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is a limited-edition commemorative release honoring the U.S. Army's 250th anniversary, debuting June 14, 2025. Green River is the 10th oldest licensed distillery in Kentucky (DSP-KY-10), founded in 1885 and proudly based in Owensboro, Kentucky.

This small batch bourbon is a selection of 4- to 7-year-old barrels crafted from a distinct mashbill of 77% corn, 14% rye, and 9% malted barley. It is bottled at Army Strong 111.1 proof (55.55% ABV), a nod to Veterans Day (November 11). The full-bodied whiskey delivers aromas and flavors of caramel, black cherry, cocoa, and peppermint, with a rich mouthfeel of toffee and toasted oak leading to a lightly spiced, bold finish.

Presented in Green River's iconic horseshoe-shaped bottle in the U.S. Army's colors and imagery, this expression is a salute to 250 years of military courage and service. A portion of proceeds supports quality-of-life programs for soldiers and their families, as well as charitable organizations including the Special Operations Warrior Foundation, USA Cares, and others.
