DAOU Limited Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is a premium Bordeaux-style red wine from the acclaimed DAOU Vineyards in Paso Robles, California, sold here in a case of 12 bottles (750ml each). Founded by brothers Georges and Daniel Daou in 2007, the winery sits atop Paso Robles' highest hillside vineyard at approximately 2,200 feet elevation, where limestone soils and a cool mountain climate produce wines of exceptional concentration and complexity.
The Limited Reserve is crafted as a special selection from standout vineyard lots, blending predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon with Petit Verdot. It is aged in 50% new French oak, delivering a rich, full-bodied profile with aromas of blackberry, raspberry, plum, licorice, thyme, vanilla, and cherry. On the palate, layers of black fruit, chocolate-covered blueberry, cedar, and mineral complexity are supported by exquisitely rounded tannins and a long, structured finish. The wine has earned critical acclaim including a 95-point score from James Suckling and a 92โ94 point range from The Wine Advocate.
Contains sulfites. Alcohol: 15.2% by volume. Produced and bottled by DAOU Vineyards, Paso Robles and Sonoma, CA.
