Les Légendes Saint-Émilion is a red Bordeaux wine produced by Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite), crafted under the direction of winemaker Diane Flamand. It originates from the prestigious Saint-Émilion appellation on the Right Bank of Bordeaux, France, where Merlot-dominant blends are a hallmark of the region's centuries-old winemaking tradition.
The wine is composed of approximately 85% Merlot and is known for its deep garnet color and aromatic complexity. The nose offers notes of roasted oak, toasted spices, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ripe dark fruit. On the palate it is full-bodied, rich, and dense with black plum flavors and a long, spicy finish. The tannins soften with age, making it enjoyable from around 2024 onward. It has received a 90-point rating from Wine Enthusiast.
Each bottle is 750ML. Costco sells this wine as a 12-bottle case.
