The Planeta family — Alessio, Francesca, and Santi Planeta — began their winemaking venture in the mid-1980s, spending years carefully matching Sicily's extraordinarily diverse soils with both indigenous and international varieties. The La Segreta label is part of their acclaimed portfolio, built on the philosophy of pairing grape variety with terroir to produce wines that are expressive, food-friendly, and distinctly Sicilian.
