Planeta Cerasuolo di Vittoria is Sicily's only DOCG-designated wine, produced from vineyards around Dorilli in southeastern Sicily, situated between the sea and the Iblean mountains. The wine is a blend of 60% Nero d'Avola and 40% Frappato, two indigenous Sicilian grape varieties cultivated using organic farming methods and the SOStain sustainability protocol.

On the nose, Cerasuolo di Vittoria offers a recognizable mosaic of red fruits and spices — Marsala strawberries, mulberry, pomegranate, sandalwood, coriander, and Sichuan peppercorns. On the palate, the wine reflects these aromas with notes of black pepper, carob, and sweet cherries, finishing with a full-bodied, rounded character and hints of mulberry. The wine carries an ABV of approximately 12.6%.

The name Cerasuolo derives from "cerasa," the Sicilian word for cherry, reflecting the wine's characteristic fruit-forward profile. Sandy red soils and a tufa layer at 90 cm depth help retain moisture and contribute to the wine's distinctive minerality. The wine has earned consistent acclaim, including Gambero Rosso Tre Bicchieri and 90+ scores from Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast, and James Suckling.
