Champagne Palmer & Co Brut Collection Vintage 1996 is a prestige cuvée from one of Champagne's most respected cooperative houses, founded in 1947 by seven grower-families based in Reims. Sourced from Premier and Grand Cru sites in the Montagne de Reims appellation, this vintage Champagne is crafted from a blend of 50% Chardonnay and 50% Pinot Noir, produced using the traditional méthode champenoise with extended lees ageing and a Brut dosage of approximately 7–8 g/L. The Collection series is known for aging wines for 20 or more years before disgorgement, making the 1996 a rare and highly sought-after release.

The wine presents a golden color with aromas of honey, wax, mandarin, iodine, and toasted brioche. On the palate it is medium to full-bodied with a bright citrus-acid spine, fine persistent mousse, generous texture, and a long toasted finish — hallmarks of the celebrated 1996 Champagne vintage. It earned 93 points from Robert Parker (William Kelley) in April 2019, with a noted drinking window of 2018–2033. Serve chilled between 8–10°C (46–50°F).
