Bodegas Ego El Goru 38 Barrels is an organic red wine from the Jumilla DO in Murcia, Spain. This bold, structured red is a blend of 85% Monastrell and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, aged in oak barrels and bottled at 14.5% ABV.
The wine pours a deep black cherry color with purple violet hues. On the nose it offers clean, fragrant aromas of black cherry, blackcurrant, dusty cinnamon spice, violets, and blueberries. The palate is structured and lively, with notes of blackcurrant leaves, dark cherries, soft round tannins, and balanced acidity leading to a pure, persistent finish. Rated 96 points by Decanter World Wine Awards.
