Vietti Monvigliero Barolo is a prestigious single-vineyard red wine from the Verduno commune within the Barolo DOCG appellation of Piedmont, Italy. Made entirely from Nebbiolo, the Monvigliero cru is celebrated as one of the most elegant and aromatic sites in the Barolo zone, situated in one of its coolest growing areas and producing wines of exceptional grace and refinement. The wine is fermented with 60% whole-cluster fruit and aged for 24 months in large oak casks, a technique that contributes its hallmark spice complexity alongside a lean, weightless structure. On the nose it offers enchanting aromas of crushed raspberries, wild strawberries, red cherries, rose petals, violets, thyme, and dried herbs, underpinned by mineral and saline notes. The palate is silky and refined, with fine crumbled tannins, vibrant acidity, and a long, complex finish with hints of white pepper, cinnamon, and orange peel. Production of this wine is limited to approximately 6,754 bottles per vintage.
