Haynes Vineyard Forgeron Chardonnay is a single-vineyard, single-estate Chardonnay sourced from some of the oldest vines in Napa Valley, originally planted in 1967 at Haynes Vineyard in Coombsville. Coombsville is recognized as one of Napa Valley's coolest and most distinctive microclimates, and the vineyard's unique terroir combines diatomaceous earth and volcanic rock with the iconic Wente clone of Chardonnay to produce wines of exceptional mineral character.

This bottling is crafted in a Burgundian style, aged for 22 months in 100% large French oak casks, and composed entirely of Chardonnay. The wine delivers aromas of dried apple, dried earth, and hints of peach, with a medium body and firm, fine-grained texture. It is designed for prolonged aging and will reward cellaring. Winemaker Nico Cueva oversees production under natural farming principles and a low-intervention approach. The Forgeron expression is one of three Chardonnay labels from the estate—alongside Vigneron and Corazon—each emphasizing a distinct dimension of the vineyard's terroir and history.
