Torre Il Cerreto Chianti Classico Riserva is a DOCG-certified Italian red wine from Tuscany, crafted from Sangiovese grapes grown in the Chianti Classico zone between Florence and Siena. This Riserva designation indicates extended aging requirements beyond the standard Chianti Classico, resulting in a more structured and complex wine.
The wine is medium-bodied and extra dry, with an alcohol content of 14%. Tasting notes include earthy mushrooms, dark plum, earthy florals, and truffle, with firm tannins and a vibrant, delicious palate. Aromas range from violet and red currant to balsamic, rosemary, leather, and orange. It has earned scores in the 90-93 point range from professional critics. Recommended drinking window is 2024–2029.
