PSI Tempranillo Ribera del Duero 750ML

PSI is a red wine made by Peter Sisseck, the celebrated winemaker behind the iconic Pingus and Flor de Pingus, and takes its name from the 23rd letter of the Greek alphabet. Sourced from Ribera del Duero in Spain's Castilla y León region, this 100% Tempranillo is crafted from fruit grown across dozens of villages, with a focus on old, neglected vineyards that Sisseck has helped revive through sustainable and biodynamic viticulture. Each vintage brings together hundreds of small parcels to capture the soul of the Ribera del Duero appellation.

The wine is known for its approachable, juicy character with notes of ripe red cherry, plum, pine, and dried flowers. Fine-grained tannins and well-integrated acidity give it a midweight texture with detailed, expressive fruit. The 2023 vintage received scores of 93–94 points from The Wine Advocate and 92–94 points from Vinous. An hour of decanting is recommended to open up the aromatics. It pairs well with beef, lamb, pork, duck, game meats, and charcuterie and cheese boards. Sold as a case of 12 x 750ML bottles.
