Cantina Gentili Matero is an IGT Toscana red wine blend from Tuscany, Italy, crafted from hand-picked Sangiovese (50%), Merlot (35%), and Cabernet Franc (15%) grapes. The grapes undergo alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks, then are aged in bottle for 2 to 3 months before release.
The wine displays a vivid ruby red color with decisive aromas of crispy cherry, raspberry, and wild strawberries. On the palate it is medium-structured and pleasantly fresh, appreciated for its easy-drinking character, with a finish of wild strawberry. It is best served slightly cool and pairs well with salami, aged cheeses, and roasted meats. Alcohol content is 13.5% ABV.
