Bottled at 108 proof (54% ABV), this expression is part of Penelope Bourbon's highly experimental Project X series, designed to showcase the transformative effect of secondary cask finishing on Indiana bourbon.
The Cognac cask finish imparts a smooth, refined character that balances the bourbon's inherent sweetness with a touch of floral sophistication. On the nose, expect vanilla bean, brown sugar, and candied citrus.
