7 Deadly Zins Old Vine Zinfandel is a California red wine crafted by Michael David Winery from the Lodi appellation in California's Central Valley, a region celebrated for producing some of America's finest Zinfandel grapes. This wine is a blend of seven old vine Zinfandels sourced from seven certified sustainable vineyards in Lodi, composed primarily of Zinfandel with the addition of Petite Sirah. It is sustainably produced under the Lodi Rules Certified Green Sustainable Winegrowing program.

Full-bodied and seductive, the wine delivers heaps of jammy berry fruit with aromas of blackberry, plum, cassis, leather, oak, and spice. On the palate, expect flavors of dark plum, dark cherry, allspice, dark chocolate, orange zest, and toffee through a lingering spice-touched finish with gripping tannins. At 15% ABV, it pairs beautifully with grilled meats, hearty pasta dishes, and rich weekday fare.

The 2020 vintage earned 91 points and Gold at the Critics Challenge International Wine Competition. The 2021 vintage was awarded 89 points by Wine Enthusiast.
