Antinori Peppoli Chianti Classico is a benchmark Tuscan red wine from the storied Marchesi Antinori estate, sourced from the Tenuta Pèppoli vineyard located 5km northeast of Tenuta Tignanello in the Chianti Classico DOCG zone. First produced in 1985, this wine is crafted primarily from Sangiovese alongside complementary varieties, and is made in a style that balances approachability with regional character.

The wine opens with bright aromas of fresh cherries, raspberry, pomegranate, and tangerine, layered with floral notes of violets and geraniums. On the palate it is lively and juicy with fine, soft tannins and a savory, lingering finish with hints of cedar spice, oregano, and dusty earth. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, followed by aging in large Slavonian oak barrels and barriques, preserving the wine's fresh fruit profile while adding depth and structure. It is well-suited for pairing with pasta, grilled meats, pizza, and aged cheeses.
