Tikal Patriota Red Blend Argentina 750ml

Tikal Patriota is a bold and expressive Argentine red blend from the La Consulta subregion of the Uco Valley in Mendoza. It combines 60% Bonarda and 40% Malbec sourced from old vines averaging 61 years of age, grown at approximately 3,280 feet of elevation, delivering the concentration and character that comes from deep-rooted, mature vines in a high-altitude environment.

The wine is aged 12 months in oak—70% French and 30% American barrels, with 30% new oak and 70% second- and third-use—adding structure and complexity while preserving the wine's vibrant fruit character. On the nose it opens with bright cherries, raspberry, and expressive red and black berry fruit. The palate is full-bodied yet well balanced, with layers of raspberry, cherry, and cocoa, finishing with a hint of baking spice that ties the fruit and oak together seamlessly. Alcohol is 13.5% ABV.

Certified sustainable through Bodegas de Argentina, Tikal Patriota is well suited for near-term drinking as well as medium-term cellaring of three to five years. It pairs naturally with grilled and smoked meats, barbecue, meat-topped pizza, and rich mature cheeses. Serve slightly cool at 16–18°C in a large red wine glass to allow full expression of its complexity. Sold as a case of 12 bottles, each 750ml.
