Lucente is a Super Tuscan red wine produced by Tenuta Luce in Montalcino, Tuscany, Italy. A blend of Merlot and Sangiovese, this Toscana IGT wine is crafted from the estate's younger vines in cooler vineyard sites at lower altitudes. The wine is aged for 12 months in oak barriques, 85% of which are new, resulting in a silky, refined structure. It carries 14% alcohol by volume.

The wine displays a deep purple-red color with an enticing bouquet of blackberry, raspberry, leather, spice, and licorice. On the palate it is silky smooth and elegantly balanced, offering rich, juicy fruit flavors of blackcurrant, blueberry, and black cherry complemented by dusty tannins and notes of stony minerality. The finish is long and dry with lingering fruit notes. Lucente is the second wine of the Tenuta Luce estate, sharing the same rigorous vineyard selection as the flagship Luce bottling.
