Bodegas Volver Triga is a bold red blend from the DO Alicante region of southeastern Spain, crafted by the collaboration between importer Jorge Ordoñez and winemaker Rafael Cañizares, founded in 2004. The wine is composed primarily of 85% Monastrell (Mourvèdre) and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, sourced exclusively from the winery's oldest vineyard parcels — vines ranging from 40 to 100 years old — selected for their exceptionally low yields and concentrated fruit.

Malolactic fermentation takes place in French oak barrels, where the wine is aged for 22 months, resulting in a rich and structured profile. On the nose, the wine opens with explosive aromas of black and blue fruits that evolve into notes of licorice, Indian spices, and floral oils. On the palate, sweet cranberries and currants are complemented by a spicy, persistent finish with excellent concentration and underlying acidity that adds elegance and balance. Alcohol content is 15.5%. Contains sulfites.
