Havemeyer Piesporter Goldtropfchen Riesling Spatlese is a late-harvest white wine from the prestigious Goldtropfchen vineyard in Piesport, located in Germany's Mosel region. The vineyard is planted on steep, south-east-facing Devonian slate slopes renowned for producing expressive, mineral-rich Riesling.

This Spatlese offers bright aromas of candied pear, apple, peach, and tropical melon, intertwined with floral and wet slate mineral notes. On the palate, it is delicately sweet yet beautifully balanced by crisp acidity and slate minerality, with approximately 61 g/L residual sugar and around 8.5% ABV. The finish is lively, crisp, and long, balancing sweetness with vibrant acidity and mineral grip.

Pairs excellently with fruit-based desserts, smoked ham, spicy Asian cuisine, and tangy proteins like pork, poultry, and shellfish. Best served chilled at around 50°F (10°C) and enjoyed relatively young.
