Bollinger La Grande Année Brut is the prestige vintage cuvée from Champagne Bollinger, made only from exceptional harvests using Grand Cru and Premier Cru grapes. This distinguished champagne is exclusively vinified in small aged oak barrels, a rare traditional method that develops aromas of great finesse and provides extraordinary aging potential through micro-oxygenation. Each bottle is riddled and disgorged entirely by hand after aging for 10 years in Bollinger's chalky cellars.

The 2015 vintage is a generous, plump wine featuring initial scents of stone fruits including Pomme Gris, plum, and Mirabelle plum layered with honey, followed by a medley of red fruits like blackberry, blackcurrant, cherry, and raspberry dancing with notes of almond. Exotic touches of mango dissolve into tertiary scents of vanilla and delicate woody aromas. On the palate, the wine offers texture and richness reminiscent of Mirabelle plum jam, with a finish blending chocolate and citrus fruits, bringing a touch of acidity lengthened by hints of schist. The blend is 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay, with 8 grams per liter dosage.

This full-bodied champagne showcases flavors of citrus, vanilla, hazelnut, salted almond, pink grapefruit, crystallized honey, pickled ginger, toasted walnuts, and a dash of bitter marmalade.
