Renwood Old Vine Zinfandel is a bold, full-bodied red wine sourced from 100% old-vine Zinfandel grapes grown in Amador County, one of California's most celebrated Zinfandel-producing regions in the Sierra Nevada foothills. Renwood Winery, established in 1993, has long been recognized for its commitment to harvesting fruit from some of the oldest dry-farmed Zinfandel vineyards in the country, resulting in concentrated, deeply expressive wines with outstanding complexity.

On the nose, this wine opens with exotic spices, dried fruits, lavender, blackberry, and cocoa powder. The palate is ripe and full-bodied, leading with dark fruit flavors of blackberry, plum, and boysenberry that transition into notes of chocolate, anise, and smoked meat, with a lingering hint of roasted coffee on the finish. The tannins are plush and well-integrated, contributing a silky, velvety quality throughout.

Rated 90 points by Wine Enthusiast and awarded a Gold Medal at the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition.
