Casa Lapostolle Cuvée Alexandre Cabernet Sauvignon is a premium Chilean red wine from the renowned Apalta vineyard in the Colchagua Valley. This elegant blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Cabernet Franc, 4% Merlot, and 4% Petit Verdot is crafted from organic and biodynamically managed vines, some planted as far back as 1920 with high-density spacing that yields less than 2 tons per acre. All grapes are 100% hand-harvested with strict fruit selection.

The wine is aged for 14 months in 225-liter French medium-toast oak barrels. It presents an intense red color with brilliant purple shades, offering aromas of red fruits with dark spicy notes, currants, and berries. On the palate, it is elegant with round and persistent tannins, fresh cherry notes, and a light toasted flavor. At 14.5% alcohol, it pairs beautifully with high-flavor dishes such as lamb shank with herbs or pork fillet with mustard and honey. This wine can be cellared for several years or enjoyed now after decanting for one hour. Sold in a pack of six 750ml bottles.
