Bernardus Chardonnay Monterey County is a celebrated California white wine crafted from carefully selected vineyards in the Arroyo Seco and Santa Lucia Highlands appellations of Monterey County. The cool maritime climate of California's Central Coast allows the Chardonnay grape's distinctive character to fully express itself, resulting in a wine of extraordinary character and finesse.

In the winery, 57% of the juice is fermented in oak barrels and 90% is aged in French oak barrels. This winemaking approach produces a wine that is light golden yellow in color with aromas of ripe peach, tropical fruits, white flowers, acacia, vanilla, and subtle toasty oak. On the palate, the wine is rich and full-bodied with flavors of baked apple, fig, butter, and mineral notes, all balanced by crisp acidity.
