Beckmen Vineyards Purisima Mountain Vineyard Syrah is a handcrafted red wine from the Ballard Canyon AVA in Santa Barbara County, California. This estate Syrah is grown on Beckmen's 365-acre Purisima Mountain Vineyard, which holds the distinction of being the first certified biodynamic vineyard in Santa Barbara County. The winery avoids herbicides, insecticides, pesticides, and nitrogen-based fertilizers, farming the land as a holistic, living organism.

The wine delivers classic Syrah aromas and flavors of blackberry, dark plum, cracked black pepper, violets, and Asian spice. The palate shows great depth and richness with a concentrated, layered structure. The finish is long and detailed, weaving together floral elements and dark fruit notes. It is a young, tight, and inward-style Syrah with excellent aging potential of 10–15 years.
