The Taittinger Comtes de Champagne Blanc de Blancs is the prestige cuvée of the legendary Taittinger Champagne house, representing the ultimate expression of their signature style. Produced only in exceptional vintage years, this rare Champagne is composed entirely of 100% Chardonnay grapes sourced exclusively from five Grand Cru-classified villages of the prestigious Côte des Blancs: Avize, Chouilly, Cramant, Oger, and Mesnil-sur-Oger.

Only the first press juice is used to ensure extraordinary purity and finesse. A small proportion (5%) of the blend is aged for three to four months in new oak barrels to add depth and complexity. Prior to disgorgement, the wine rests for 10 years on the lees in 13th-century chalk cellars once belonging to Saint Nicaise abbey, developing layers of remarkable elegance.

On the palate, this Champagne is powerful, refined, expressive, and complex, with notes of citrus fruits, lime blossom, caramelized grapefruit, lemon meringue, poached apricot, brioche, and candied ginger. The long, rich finish reveals sweet licorice aromas. An ideal accompaniment to seafood and shellfish, though its complexity invites savoring on its own.
