Bernheim Original Kentucky Straight Wheat Whiskey is a 7-year-old small batch wheat whiskey produced by Heaven Hill Distillery in Louisville, Kentucky. It is the first new style of American whiskey to be introduced since Prohibition, using wheat as the primary grain in the mashbill rather than the traditional corn or rye.

Aged for 7 years in traditional open rickhouses, this 90-proof (45% ABV) whiskey presents a bright amber color with a mildly sweet aroma featuring hints of vanilla and honey. The palate offers notes of toffee, berries, and spice, followed by a finish of toasted oak that is elegant and warm. It is refreshingly smooth when served straight or in cocktails.

Bernheim Original has earned notable recognition including Wheat Whiskey of the Year from Jim Murray's Whisky Bible in 2018 and a Double Gold medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2023.
