Kirkland Signature Omeprazole 20mg Delayed Release Tablets provide 24-hour acid reduction for the treatment of frequent heartburn occurring 2 or more days per week. This package contains 42 tablets (three 14-day courses of treatment) that compare to the active ingredient in Prilosec OTC. Omeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that works by decreasing acid production at the source in the stomach lining, providing long-lasting relief from heartburn, acid reflux, and related stomach discomfort.

Each tablet contains 20mg omeprazole in a delayed-release formulation designed to be taken once daily. The medication may take 1 to 4 days for full effect, though some people experience complete relief within 24 hours. This product is intended for adults 18 years and older with frequent heartburn. It is not for immediate relief of heartburn symptoms.
