Fisher Original Fair Scone & Shortcake Mix is a beloved Pacific Northwest staple with roots going back to 1915, when Fisher Flour Mills first began serving hot scones at the Puyallup State Fair. By 2011, Fisher had sold its 100 millionth scone from that very same fairground location. This Costco bulk box contains 72 oz (4.5 lbs) of mix, packaged as four individual 18 oz pouches, yielding approximately 48 servings in total.
The mix is simple to prepare — just add water, mix, and bake for 10–12 minutes for light, fluffy scones. It also works as a shortcake base. Distributed by Conifer Specialties, Inc. of Woodinville, WA, the product reflects Fisher's commitment to partnering with local Pacific Northwest dairy, berry, and wheat farmers.
