Clos de los Siete is a world-class red wine blend from the Uco Valley in Mendoza, Argentina, crafted under the direction of Michel Rolland, the celebrated Bordeaux-based winemaker and enologist who originated the project. The wine is produced from 850 hectares of vines situated at an altitude of 1,100 to 1,200 meters at the foot of the Andes Mountains, where well-drained sandy-clay soils rich in pebbles and gravel support concentrated, high-quality fruit. Four Bordeaux families operate their own bodegas within the estate — Monteviejo, Cuvelier Los Andes, DiamAndes, and Rolland de los Andes — each contributing a portion of their harvest to the single shared wine blended by Michel Rolland.

The blend is dominated by Malbec, Argentina's signature variety, with Bordeaux grapes adding depth and complexity. Typical composition includes approximately 55% Malbec, 16% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Syrah, 3% Petit Verdot, and 2% Cabernet Franc, varying slightly by vintage. Grapes are harvested manually, transported in wooden trays, sorted on a sorting table, and gravity-fed into temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks before aging in French oak casks. Vine cultivation follows Bordeaux grand cru standards with green harvesting, leaf removal, and strictly controlled yields at a density of 5,500 vines per hectare.

The wine presents a deep ruby-red color with aromas of black fruit, plums, mineral notes, wild herbs, violets, and delicate floral notes. The palate is pleasantly powerful with good length, elegant silky tannins, and a juicy, round structure. The 2020 vintage received 94 points from James Suckling and 91 points from Robert Parker's Wine Advocate. Alcohol content is 14.5% by volume. Sold as a case of 12 × 750ML bottles.
