K Vintners "The Deal" is a single-vineyard Syrah from the Sundance Vineyard on Washington's Wahluke Slope AVA, produced by Charles Smith under his K Vintners label. K Vintners was founded in 2001 as a Rhone-centric winery dedicated to high-quality, single-vineyard wines.

This 100% Syrah is grown in the volcanic, sandy loam soils of the Wahluke Slope, a warm, arid sub-AVA of the Columbia Valley known for producing concentrated, expressive red wines. The wine delivers an aromatic profile of violet, rose petal, and red fruit alongside boysenberry, cherry, and black pepper. On the palate it is full-bodied with ripe red and dark fruit, roasted herbs, hot stone, dried shiitake, and fine-grained tannins. A thread of oak integrates throughout, adding structure without dominating the fruit. Pairs well with aged goudas, blue cheeses, and rich grilled lamb or beef dishes.
