Etude Pinot Gris is an estate-grown white wine from the Carneros appellation, produced by Etude Winery in California. The grapes are sourced from Etude's Grace Benoist Ranch estate vineyard, where certified Alsatian clones are planted in deep, well-drained loamy soils. The cool maritime influence from nearby San Pablo Bay provides a long, even growing season that allows the Pinot Gris to ripen fully while preserving natural acidity. The Grace Benoist Ranch vineyard is certified by the California Sustainable Winegrowing Alliance, and Etude Winery holds Napa Green sustainability certification.

Crafted by Winemaker Jon Priest, the grapes are harvested at night into small bins to retain freshness and purity of the fruit. After gentle whole-cluster pressing, the juice is fermented in small stainless-steel barrels and aged four months sur lie, developing a silky, luscious texture and enhanced mouthfeel. No oak is used at any stage, and no malolactic fermentation occurs, keeping the wine bright and true to its varietal character.

On the nose, the wine opens with fragrant white elderflower aromatics alongside hints of lime zest, kiwi, and marzipan. On the palate, a flinty minerality comes through balanced by tropical notes of Granny Smith apple, white peach, lime zest, and citrus blossom. The finish is dry, crisp, and refreshingly long. Each bottle is 750ml.
