Argiolas Costamolino Vermentino di Sardegna is a crisp Italian white wine produced by the Argiolas winery on the island of Sardinia, off the western coast of Italy. Made from the Vermentino grape, it carries a Denominazione di Origine Controllata (DOC) designation as Vermentino di Sardegna, reflecting the Mediterranean climate that defines the character of this wine.
The wine pours a pale to medium yellow color with inviting citrus aromas on the nose. On the palate it is medium-bodied with flavors of apricot, peach, and pineapple, balanced by a crisp, clean finish with lingering notes of juicy orange. Alcohol content is 13.5%.
Costamolino is an excellent choice paired with white fish, seafood, salads, and lighter summer dishes. It has earned an 88-point rating from CostcoWineBlog and represents strong value compared to its typical retail price of around $17 or more at other retailers. Sold in a standard 750ml bottle; Costco carries it in cases of 12.
