Forman Vineyard's Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley is a benchmark expression of classic, old-school Napa winemaking crafted by the legendary Ric Forman. Forman founded his eponymous label in 1983 in St. Helena, California, and has spent four decades producing some of the appellation's most elegant and age-worthy Cabernet Sauvignons. This 750ml bottle is a testament to that heritage.

The wine presents a classic Napa Cabernet nose of darker currants, green tobacco, spring flowers, camphor, and new leather. On the palate it shows a medium to full-bodied, elegant style with concentrated flavors of cassis, plum, and cedar, supported by ripe yet present tannins and a long, refined finish. The 2019 vintage is notably more accessible and open than previous releases while retaining the structure needed for long-term cellaring.

Critically acclaimed, the 2019 received 96 points from Jeb Dunnuck and a barrel score of 95–98 from Vinous, with notes describing it as delivering "unreal precision and energy" with "magnificent purity and class." It is expected to drink brilliantly for two or more decades when stored properly. Pairs beautifully with grilled meats, aged hard cheeses, and hearty braised dishes.
