Scott Family Estate Chardonnay is a California white wine sourced from the Arroyo Seco ("Dry Creek") sub-appellation of the Monterey AVA. The estate vineyards are situated inland from Big Sur in deep, gravelly soils that are ideal for premium Chardonnay cultivation. The region's cool climate produces an extended growing season often two to four weeks longer than Napa Valley, allowing for greater fruit ripening and brighter acidity. The result is relatively small berries with intense, concentrated flavors.

This Chardonnay opens with vibrant aromas of stone fruit, green apple, and a hint of sweet oak. On the palate it delivers a creamy mid-palate texture with a soft finish, while bright acidity highlights notes of citrus and minerals. The wine is 14.5% ABV and has earned 87 points from Cellar Tracker. It pairs well with chilled corn and pistachio soup, crab cakes, and soft triple-crème cheeses served with apples.
