Kirkland Signature fresh wild ahi tuna is premium yellowfin tuna (Thunnus albacares) wild-caught in the Philippines and processed in the United States. This sashimi-grade tuna features moderately oily, firm, pinkish-red flesh with a mild flavor, highly prized for Japanese cuisine including sashimi, poke bowls, and seared preparations. Each package contains approximately 2 pounds of fresh tuna steaks with a 3-day shelf life from pack date.
This lean fish is an excellent source of protein, providing 24.4g per 100g serving with all essential amino acids.
