Costco's Fresh Wild Mahi Mahi Fillet is sold by the pound and sourced from wild-caught fish. Mahi Mahi, also known as Dorado, is a lean, firm-fleshed fish with a mild, sweet flavor profile, moderately firm texture, and large, moist flakes when cooked. It makes an excellent premium alternative to other whitefish products and readily takes on flavors introduced during preparation.
This fresh fillet is boneless and skinless, making it easy to cook without preparation. It is versatile in the kitchen — excellent grilled, baked, blackened, pan-seared, or crusted. Mahi Mahi is a popular choice for fish tacos, served with fresh mango salsa, or paired with rice and roasted vegetables. To grill, cook over medium-high heat for approximately 7 minutes. To bake, cook at 400°F for 10 to 12 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 158°F.
Mahi Mahi is exceptionally nutritious, being naturally low in fat and high in protein. A typical 3 oz serving contains approximately 100 calories, 1g total fat, 0g saturated fat, 85mg cholesterol, 105mg sodium, 0g carbohydrates, and 21g protein. Ingredients: Mahi Mahi.
