This award-winning artisan blue cheese has been produced on the Point Reyes family farm in Northern California since 2000. It is a rindless, all-natural, gluten-free blue cheese with a bold, addictive flavor featuring hints of sweet milk and a peppery finish.

Made from raw (non-pasteurized), rBST-free cow's milk using microbial (vegetarian) rennet and aged for 3.5 months. The cheese is milky white in color with blue-green veins throughout and has an ultra-creamy texture with medium-strong blue mold flavor.

Original Blue is versatile as a stand-alone table cheese, for topping salads and burgers, melting onto steak, mixing into pasta or risotto, or incorporating into scrambled eggs and mashed potatoes. Pairs well with Cabernet, Zinfandel, and malt-centric beers like imperial stout, as well as vintage port.
