Heitz Cellar Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a classically crafted wine showcasing the best vineyards throughout Napa Valley. Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, this wine is farmed sustainably and certified organic by CCOF with Certified Fish Friendly Farming practices.

Harvested from vineyards spanning six sub-appellations throughout Napa Valley, including Oakville, Rutherford, Howell Mountain, St. Helena, Oak Knoll, and Calistoga, this wine offers a full composition representing the breadth of Napa Valley terroir. From the fertile soils of western Oakville to the recognizable "Rutherford Dust" terroir to mountain-grown fruit atop rugged Howell Mountain, each vineyard contributes unique site-specific characteristics.

The wine is crafted through a thoughtful process where each vineyard lot is kept separate during fermentation and aging in French oak barrels. After the winemaker selects exceptional barrels for single vineyard Cabernet Sauvignons, the remaining barrels are blended to create the Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine spends two years in barrel followed by another year in bottle before release. Tasting notes include dark fruit aromas of blackberries, bitter chocolate, dried herbs, blackcurrants, black olives, and graphite.
