Bramìto della Sala is an elegant Italian Chardonnay crafted by the historic Marchesi Antinori family from vineyards surrounding the medieval castle at Castello della Sala in Umbria, approximately 18 kilometers from the historic city of Orvieto. The estate spans 600 hectares, with 229 hectares planted with vineyards at altitudes ranging from 220 to 470 meters above sea level. The vines grow in clay and calcareous soils rich in fossil deposits, imparting distinctive minerality and elegance to the wine. The first vintage of Bramìto della Sala was produced in 1994.

The wine is vinified with careful attention to preserving aromatic freshness. Harvested grapes are destemmed, gently crushed, and cold-macerated at 10°C for 2–4 hours to enhance aromatics. Fermentation occurs at a controlled 16–18°C, with some lots fermented in oak barrels (which undergo malolactic fermentation) and others in stainless steel vats to retain freshness and fruit character.

Bramìto della Sala pours bright straw yellow with golden hues. The nose is fresh and elegant, offering notes of Williams pear, Scotch broom blossoms, lime citrus, toasted hazelnuts, fresh butter, and brioche. On the palate, the wine is harmonious and well-structured with excellent balance between freshness and sapidity, finishing long and persistent with delicate fresh almond and mineral notes characteristic of its Umbrian terroir.
