Damilano Barolo Lecinquevigne is a prestigious Nebbiolo-based red wine from the Piedmont region of northwestern Italy, produced under the Barolo DOCG appellation. The name "Lecinquevigne" — Italian for "the five vineyards" — refers to the five distinct vineyard sites whose grapes are blended to create this wine: Barolo, Verduno, Grinzane Cavour, La Morra, and Novello. The vines grow in calcareous-clay soils that are characteristic of the Barolo zone and ideal for the Nebbiolo grape.

In the glass, the wine presents a ruby-red color with orange highlights. The nose is intense and complex, offering aromas of rose, leather, tobacco, violet, and subtle hints of tar — classic hallmarks of well-made Barolo. On the palate, it is broad and enveloping with a pleasing softness and a long, persistent finish. The wine is approachable upon release but is well-suited to extended aging, gaining additional complexity over time.

Damilano is one of the historic producers of the Barolo zone, with roots dating back to 1890 when Giuseppe Borgogno began cultivating grapes from his own vineyards. Giacomo Damilano, the founder's son-in-law, took over operations in 1935, and the family has maintained a commitment to traditional Barolo production ever since. The Lecinquevigne bottling has received high critical acclaim, including 93 points from Wine Advocate and 90 points from Wine Spectator.
