Bodega Colomé Estate Malbec is a 100% Malbec red wine from the Upper Calchaquí Valleys of Salta, Argentina. This wine is a multi-vineyard assemblage drawn from four distinct vineyards at dramatically different altitudes, each contributing a unique character to the final blend.

The "La Brava" vineyard at 1,700 meters above sea level yields intense, ripe fruit. The "Colomé" vineyard at 2,300 meters contributes complexity and weight. The "El Arenal" vineyard at 2,700 meters adds elegance and freshness. The "Altura Máxima" vineyard at 3,100 meters — among the highest vineyards in the world — imparts floral and mineral notes along with fine-grained tannins. The wine is aged for 15 months in 2nd to 5th use French oak barrels, followed by 6 months of bottle aging before release.

Winemaker Thibaut Delmotte, a Burgundy-trained Frenchman at the winery since 2005, ferments with indigenous yeasts and minimizes intervention throughout the winemaking process. The extreme altitude of the Calchaquí Valleys naturally generates adequate acidity in the grapes, eliminating the need for additives and preserving the wine's freshness, intensity, and distinct terroir character.
