Freemark Abbey Bosché Cabernet Sauvignon is one of Napa Valley's most celebrated single-vineyard wines, sourced from the renowned 22-acre Bosché Vineyard on the Rutherford Bench. Located west of Highway 29 in the heart of the Rutherford appellation, the vineyard features deep gravelly soils that yield concentrated, structured fruit with remarkable depth and complexity. Freemark Abbey has produced wine from this iconic site continuously, making the Bosché one of California's most storied single-vineyard bottlings.

This full-bodied wine opens with aromas of dark cherry, blueberry, graphite, and forest floor, with nuances of spiced mulberry and black raspberry. The palate is rich and supple, layered with notes of black fruit compote, mocha, cigar box, vanilla, toasted cedar, and baking spice from extended French oak aging, while subtle savory hints of black olive and bay leaf add complexity. The tannins are ultra-fine and silky, and the fresh acidity provides balance and long-term structure.

Typically composed of approximately 90–94% Cabernet Sauvignon with a small addition of Merlot, the wine is aged for approximately 20 months in French oak barrels with around 60% new oak.
