Fortaleza Blanco is a premium 100% blue Weber agave tequila crafted at the historic Tequila Los Abuelos distillery in Jalisco's Tequila Valley. Produced by fifth-generation tequila maker Guillermo Erickson Sauza, this unaged blanco honors traditional methods dating back to the Sauza family's founding of their tequila empire in 1873.

The agave piñas are slow-roasted in a century-old brick oven powered by a 113-year-old boiler, then crushed using an ancestral 150-year-old two-ton volcanic tahona stone. This labor-intensive extraction method, abandoned by most modern distilleries, yields greater depth and complexity. The agave is naturally fermented in open-air wooden tanks with bagazo fibers added for enhanced flavor, then double-distilled in copper pot stills.

The tasting profile features prominent cooked agave aromas with notes of citrus zest, black pepper, green olive, butter, and minerals. The palate is smooth and rich with a noticeable oiliness, delivering flavors of raw pineapple, lime, vanilla, and slate. The finish is long and warm with lingering agave sweetness, fading pepper and citrus notes, and a pleasant earthiness with subtle mint coolness.
