Baileyana Firepeak Chardonnay is a California white wine from the Edna Valley AVA in San Luis Obispo County on the Central Coast. Sold in 750ml bottles in a case of 12, this wine has also been rebranded as the Edna Valley Chardonnay in more recent vintages.

The Edna Valley is cited as the coolest growing region in all of California, situated just 5.4 miles from the Pacific Ocean. The extended growing season allows grapes to develop intense and complex varietal flavors while achieving optimum maturity. The soils in the northern valley, nicknamed the "Dirt of the Devil," feature volcanic remnants from Islay Hill — the southernmost of the Seven Sisters extinct volcanoes — combined with clay loam and rocky marine sediment for distinct nutrients and excellent drainage.

This Chardonnay offers aromas of lavender and citrus that develop into flavors of grilled cinnamon peaches and ripe tropical fruits. Hints of minerality emphasize the wine's natural liveliness, balanced by notes of vanilla, clove, and spice leading to a smooth, memorable finish. The wine has earned 92 Points from Wine Enthusiast and 90 Points from Vinous.
