E. Guigal Côte-Rôtie Brune et Blonde is a classic Northern Rhône Valley red wine from the prestigious Côte-Rôtie appellation in France. Produced by the renowned Guigal family estate, this wine is an archetypal expression of the finesse and elegance that defines Côte-Rôtie, blending fruit from both the Côte Brune (iron-oxide-rich soils) and Côte Blonde (siliceous limestone soils) hillsides.

The wine is composed of 96% Syrah and 4% Viognier, sourced from vines averaging 35 years of age growing on steep slopes. Fermentation takes place in closed stainless steel tanks with automatic punch-downs and temperature control over approximately three weeks. It is then aged for 36 months in oak barrels, with 50% new oak, resulting in a wine of remarkable depth and complexity.

The 2018 vintage presents a dark ruby red color with aromas of spices, red berries, raspberry, blackberry, vanilla, and delicate oak. The palate offers round, soft tannins with excellent balance between acidity and structure, lending significant aging potential. Best served at 16–18°C, it pairs well with small game, red meat, and aged cheeses. Aging potential of approximately 10 years from vintage.
