Finca Sophenia Estate Reserva Malbec is an acclaimed red wine from the Gualtallary district of Tupungato in the Uco Valley, Mendoza, Argentina. Founded in 1997 by Roberto Luka, former President of Wines of Argentina, the winery is named after his partner's daughter Sophia and his own daughter Eugenia.

This hand-harvested, estate-grown Malbec is aged 10 to 12 months in French and American oak barrels. It opens with fresh aromas of violet, plums, and cherries accented by a hint of spice. On the palate it is generous and juicy, with bright acidity lifting the red fruit and cocoa flavors, while tight, fine-grained tannins provide structure and balance. The finish is long and pure, featuring a lingering burst of fruit and delicate oak spice.

The wine carries an alcohol content of 15% by volume. It has received outstanding critical acclaim, earning 93 points from James Suckling, 92 points from Wine Spectator (ranked #46 on their Top 100 of 2023), 93 points from Wine Review Online, and 91 points from Wine Advocate. 750ml bottle.
