The LG SP7R is a complete 7.1 channel home theater audio system featuring a sleek soundbar, a wireless active subwoofer, and a rear speaker kit for true surround sound. Developed in partnership with Meridian Technology — pioneers in high-resolution audio — the SP7R uses Meridian's Horizon up-mixing technology to deliver a wide, immersive soundstage from a compact setup.

The soundbar supports High Res Audio playback at up to 24bit/96kHz, with 24-bit upsampling to bring lower-resolution audio closer to studio quality. DTS Virtual:X creates virtualized height and surround channels, while AI Sound Pro automatically optimizes the sound profile for your content. Multiple preset sound modes include Cinema, Music, Game, Sports, Bass Blast, Clear Voice, and Standard.

Connectivity includes one HDMI 1.4 input, one HDMI ARC output for single-cable TV connection, an optical input, Bluetooth, and a USB host port for direct playback of FLAC, MP3, WAV, and OGG files. LG's TV Sound Mode Share lets compatible LG TVs share their sound processing with the soundbar for a seamlessly matched audio experience. The LG ThinQ app (iOS and Android) provides EQ customization, volume leveling, and Night Mode control from your phone.

The soundbar measures 39.4" x 2.5" x 4.1" and weighs 7.1 lbs. The wireless subwoofer measures 7.1" x 15.5" x 11.4" and weighs 12.8 lbs. Each rear speaker measures 3.5" x 4.8" x 3.2".
