Francis Ford Coppola Winery's Diamond Collection Pinot Grigio is a crisp, vibrant California white wine crafted from grapes grown in the state's cooler appellations. Chilly evening temperatures and regular coastal fog help the grapes retain their natural acidity, resulting in a smooth, well-balanced wine that earned 91 points and a Best Buy designation from Wine Enthusiast (2024 vintage).
The wine is composed of 98.4% Pinot Grigio with 1.6% other varietals, fermented at cool temperatures in stainless steel to preserve fragrance and freshness. Tasting notes include aromas of lemon zest, wet stone, and white flowers, with flavors of grapefruit, lime, and orange blossom. The finish is clean and mineral-driven with a natural acidity. Alcohol is 12.5% ABV. Pairs well with chicken breast, seafood, and light pasta dishes.
