Wente Vineyards Riva Ranch Chardonnay is a rich, expressive white wine sourced from the Riva Ranch Vineyard in the Arroyo Seco appellation of Monterey County, California. The 3-liter format makes it ideal for entertaining or everyday enjoyment. The wine is composed of approximately 99% Chardonnay and 1% Gewurztraminer.

The wine is 90% barrel fermented in a combination of new and second-use French and American oak barrels, with 100% malolactic fermentation and aging sur lie for six months, lending it a supple, creamy texture. Tasting notes feature ripe Honeycrisp apple, Bartlett pear, caramelized pineapple, and toasted brioche, with hints of crème brûlée and buttery richness on the finish. The mouthfeel is slightly viscous yet lifted by well-integrated acidity that provides balance and energy. Alcohol is approximately 14.5%. Pairs well with lobster, smoked chicken, mushroom risotto, and melted brie on crusty bread.
